We are a non-profit, 20 member maximum, member-owned, flying club incorporated since 1960, located at the Anoka County airport. We own a 1956, 180 HP, constant speed prop., Cessna 172 and a 1979, glass (except for a PFD), Piper Archer II; as well as a hangar with a new roof and a heated and A/C club room. We have no debt, financial transparency, and have a substantial overhaul and depreciation reserve. Our airplanes are kept in excellent condition. The airplanes are flown an average of 10 hours a month each. Availability is seldom a problem.
We fly as economically as we can but not at the expense of safety or aircraft condition. We are a conservative group of mostly older pilots and have an outstanding safety record. We have a few openings for new members who share our approach to flying good airplanes safely and economically. Memberships are available at a substantial discount to book value.
Everyone is welcome to our club meetings at 7PM, the first Wednesday of each month, at hangar no. 2135 on Nebraska Lane West. Please call Manny Block at 651-699-7932 or e-mail to mannyblock@aol.com for more detail.
